Team Cleaning divides each building into four quadrants to systematize cleaning.
For example, once a week on “detail day” the Light-duty worker spends additional time dedicated to detail cleaning tasks in one-fourth of the facility. Assigning a different quadrant for detail day each week means all four areas will receive a detail cleaning weekly. Team Cleaning builds detail work into the cleaning system rather than leaving it to chance.
Supervisors may allot extra time for project work on Friday. Just as detail cleaning may be rotated over four days to accomplish all detail cleaning weekly, project work may be rotated over the Fridays in a month. Projects could include extraction carpet cleaning, total window cleaning, recoating floors, etc.
- Routine cleaning is performed in all quadrants Monday–Friday.
- Detail cleaning is performed in each quadrant on Monday–Thursday.
- Project work is performed on Friday.
“I have spoken to, taught and worked with over 3,450 organizations over the past 19 years about the application of the Team Cleaning System into their operation. I, as many others, have come to the conclusion that this is currently the best cleaning system to absorb the most stringent demands for High Performance Cleaning requirements that face our industry today.”
