(BOISE, IDAHO) ProTeam held the Scholarship Essay Contest as a part of their 25th anniversary celebrations to give back to hardworking cleaning professionals in today’s facilities. This month, the company awarded three 1,000-dollar scholarships to Dylan Swank of Roanoke, Ill., Juan Rivera of College Station, Texas, and Bridget Sutton of Erie, Colo. based on their essay responses.
“Earning the ProTeam scholarship would mean so very much to my higher education,” wrote Rivera. “The scholarship would help me attain my goal of becoming the first and only in my family to attend and graduate college.”
Swank and Sutton are both recent high-school graduates whose parents manage janitorial operations for a healthcare facility and an independent cleaning contractor, respectively. Rivera is a dedicated cleaning professional who is pursuing higher education to further his promising career.
“ProTeam is thrilled to help the winners achieve their educational goals,” said Jacalyn High, ProTeam Director of Marketing. “By giving back to cleaning community, we hope to show that professional cleaning is a high calling, worthy of recognition.”
